Virtual care is always $0
Virtual Forward plans offer lower monthly premiums, $0 copays for most virtual services, and a $0 copay for the first in-person preventive primary care visit each year.3 With these benefits, you have more control over how you access and pay for the care you use, allowing you to get more convenient care at more affordable prices.
Seamless, connected care
Our plans give you the same quality of care through our virtual options as you’d get in person at our medical centers. And because your doctors always have access to your medical information through your electronic health record—available on kp.org and the KP app—care is convenient and personalized no matter how you access it.
Integrated system of care
In our integrated system, we’ve removed the barriers between you and your care to put you in control. Kaiser Permanente is built for this new world of health care, so can easily access the care you need—anytime, anywhere. With Virtual Forward, you can get care from your office, gym, classroom, and even your doctor’s office when needed.
With Virtual Forward plans, you have the full support of Kaiser Permanente’s integrated health system—the leading health system in the Mid-Atlantic region. Our integrated approach enables us to individually support you along your health journey. With access to care online, by phone, and via video,2 as well as in person when necessary, you get care on your terms, when and where it works best for you. And you’re accompanied by our award-winning doctors and specialists,4 who are all connected to you, each other, and your health history through your personal electronic medical record.
For more information about using these resources on your virtual health journey, download our Virtual Forward Member Guide or click the boxes below.
With video visits, you can speak to your personal doctor and any other care providers face-to-face from anywhere you like, using a camera-equipped computer or smartphone. Appointments can often be made the same day or within a few days. And because you and your care team can access all your health information online through your personal electronic health record, you get the same convenient, personalized care through virtual visits as you do in person. Video visits are available for many medical conditions and specialties.
At Kaiser Permanente, you have access to the My KP Meds app to manage your prescriptions on the go, right on your smartphone.
