Resources for your virtual health journey

SELF-CARE

With video visits, you can speak to your personal doctor and any other care providers face-to-face from anywhere you like, using a camera-equipped computer or smartphone. Appointments can often be made the same day or within a few days. And because you and your care team can access all your health information online through your personal electronic health record, you get the same convenient, personalized care through virtual visits as you do in person. Video visits are available for many medical conditions and specialties.

  • Cough, cold, flu, sore throat, allergies, sinus issues
  • Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea (no abdominal pain)
  • Minor injuries/aches and pains

When you need immediate care, you are covered at any Kaiser Permanente Urgent Care or Advanced Urgent Care center. Walk-in appointments are welcome. We have 14 locations, 6 of which are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week—visit kp.org/urgentcare/mas for specific locations and hours.

At Kaiser Permanente, you have access to the My KP Meds​ app to manage your prescriptions on the go, right on your smartphone. Prescription refills can also be ordered by phone, online at kp.org, or on the KP app—whichever is most convenient for you. Then you have 4 easy options to pick up your prescriptions. PRESCRIPTION HOME DELIVERY SERVICE
Save time, money, and a trip to the pharmacy by having prescriptions delivered right to your door. Just select the prescription home delivery service when you order your prescription, and it will be delivered right to your door—usually within 3–5 business days, and at no extra cost to you.

SAME-DAY HOME DELIVERY
Some prescriptions are also available for same-day delivery via FedEx at an additional charge.

CURBSIDE PICKUP
You can pick up your prescription in person at our medical centers without leaving your car. Just park in one of our designated curbside pickup spaces, and a pharmacy team member will bring your prescription to you.

ON-SITE PICKUP AT OUR PHARMACIES
Each Kaiser Permanente medical center has a pharmacy where you can fill, refill, and pick up prescriptions at any time. You can also call ahead to schedule a pickup time, and your prescription will be waiting for you—saving you time in the waiting room.

CLASSES
Members have access to a variety of no-cost self-care classes, including sleep and mental health, stress management, nutrition for weight control, managing prediabetes, and more. Learn more about these classes on kp.org

GET HELP WITH YOUR PLAN
At Kaiser Permanente, we strive to make your care experience as seamless and convenient as possible, right from the start. That’s why we have a dedicated New Member Activation Desk team to help new members get started with their health plan. If you need help understanding your benefits, transferring prescriptions, and more, call the New Member Activation Desk at 855-392-4851​ (TTY 711), Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

And once you’re set up as a member, our Member Services team is still always available to help. Call to ask questions or get help with finding a doctor, scheduling appointments, filling prescriptions, or managing any other aspects of your care. Member Services can be reached at 800-777-7902 (TTY 711), Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

KP APP

Get 24/7 access to all the features of kp.org, right on your smartphone. With the KP app, you can manage appointments, fill prescriptions, view lab test results, access your member ID card, and more.

FIND A PHARMACY

Find a convenient Kaiser Permanente pharmacy near you with our pharmacy locator tool. You can fill prescriptions in person, get curbside pickup, and more, all in one location. You must log in to kp.org to access the pharmacy locator.

FIND A FACILITY

Find a convenient Kaiser Permanente location near you with our facility search tool on kp.org/locations. Our directory includes facility information such as location, hours of operation, available services, and even virtual tours.

COST ESTIMATOR

Estimate how much a treatment, procedure, test, or other medical service will cost based on your plan benefits and prices in your area. Just visit kp.org/costestimate. You must be logged in to kp.org to access the cost estimator.

E-VISITS

Fill out an online questionnaire describing your health concerns, then get personalized medical advice within a few hours. Just log in to kp.org and click Appointments in the main menu.

E-MAIL

Send secure emails to your primary care doctor, specialists, and other care providers, and usually get a response within two days. Just log in to kp.org and access the Message Center from the main menu.

DIGITAL HEALTH RECORDS

You have a personal electronic health record with all your health information, which you can access anytime on kp.org or the KP app. Your doctors can access this information to offer personalized care both in person and online.
